Visits to our sanctuary are by appointment only.
We are in the mountains where Heredia meets Alajuela — Google Maps lists us as Land of The Strays, C. la Arena, Santa Bárbara, Heredia, and the other half of the farm lies in Carrizal de Alajuela. About an hour from San José and 46 minutes from Juan Santamaría International Airport. Our 400-acre farm is home to over 1,800 rescued dogs.
